AfricaBe Quarterly calls for submissions

If you were asked what Africa’s contributions to the world are what would come to mind? Ancient Egypt perhaps, maybe Great Zimbabwe? Timbuktu? Mandela?  Or rooibos tea, as the Google search reveals.

For the 3rd Issue Made in Africa, we would like to explore the meaningful contributions, inventions, innovations, trends that Africans have made to the world through business, music, language, culture, philosophy and politics.
We would like to invite you to submit articles on the theme: Made in Africa

• Articles that explore our contributions, and the meaning that they’ve had in the world
• Discussions around the perception of Africa’s contribution
• Contributions that Africans have made to the world of music, art, entertainment, fashion, poetry,  photography, philosophical thought
• Reviews of African books, or thought that has changed the world
• African artists/musicians/writers etc who have changed the world
