A Week in The Life of Me
Hey peeps,
It's been a long and pretty uneventful while, no thanks to my exams and the extended 2008/2009 session which ended for me some days ago. Last week however, something funny happened. I mean funny, as in worrisome and not funny as in hilarious, so take note.
In between hurrying to tidy up a few things, I left my wallet in a taxi cab. My nightmare had just begun. I had a pretty large sum in it plus my keys, passports, ATM and ID cards. I was broke throughout the week and believe me, I suffered. I later saw the wallet the evening of the next day but not a dime was in it. Only my cards remained. I was grateful to God, but with a very heavy heart.
As if that was not enough for me to digest, a sextape began to circulate of an acquaintance who is a friend to a group of friends of mine. Now, this girl in question happens to be a prude chic whose only beef with members of the university public that care is her personal sense of pride, which as one of her classmates told me, is slightly annoying.
That aside, I wonder how someone's privacy could be breached so easily. The guys who did the taping are somewhere, probably smiling from ear to ear while the poor girl is taking all of the public blame.
Right now, I'm so happy that exams are over. I bought a fairly used netbook from a friend within the week to act as second-choice just in case anything happens to my lappy again. Football Manager is on my mind as I type and believe me, the game is so addictive!
I'll try to blog more often even though I don't feel like these days.
Bye!
